The ECoboost is the new ESU booster, capable to provide up to 7 amps of power. It is designed to amplify and deliver data in MM / DCC / SX / M4 protocols. This is the latest generation ESU booster, designed for large models.
It allows operation in both the ESU ECoS and the Märklin Central Station. The connection with the ECoS is made through the ECoSlink port and it is automatically recognized. All settings can be performed from the ECoS.

About the Boosters
The Boosters are indispensable devices used to amplify the power supply when a large model railroad exceeds the power consumptios than the central station can provide.
In circuits of a certain size, through which several compositions circulate at the same time, cars with lighting, digital accessories, etc. high consumptions are produced, and can cause a missfunction of the digital controller. To avoid this, a booster must be installed, which feeds one part of the circuit, while the central statios feeds another part. The booster receives the orders from the central and sends them to it's "zone".
