Assembly plastic kit of a Renault 4 CV "Pie".

It was in the Spring of 1955 that the Paris Police Force was equipped with motor-driven (hotted up) 4 hp, with a body adapted to the specific needs of the Prefecture de Paris: in-cut doors, armored and adapted for radio-telephone, search-light, ect. Painted white and black, this police 4hp was quickly dubbed by the public the “Voiture Pie” (Magpie Car), by comparison with the plumage of the bird of the same name.
