The Pz.Kpfw.VI Ausf.E Sd.Kfz.181, widely known as Tiger I, is one of the most famous tanks of the Second World War. More than 1340 units were manufactured between 1942 and 1944, when the Tiger II was introduced. Although it was expensive to produce and maintain, its armor and firepower made it a fearsome adversary.
